The last three months have been good to me, spending my time at home and finally spending moments with my family I will treasure forever, but as time goes on I know that there is much more for me to experience.
An entire universe of mystery and unknowns exists outside and it starts just a few steps beyond my own front door.
Now I am beginning to feel like the time to take those first few steps into the great unknown is upon me.
I’m not entirely sure where to go from here, but forwards is better than standing still and I suppose not knowing where the road will take me is part of the adventure itself. I will start close to home and see where I end up, but the fact I am going to head out after waiting so long to do so fills me with excitement and unease, knowing I am finally making those first steps and walking into the rest of my life, yet leaving the safety and comfort of the last few months behind me.
So this is it.
